When buying jewelry, especially earrings, there are two things I always do:
1. Keep an open mind. Even seemingly ugly, old fashioned earrings can look brilliant with the right outfit.
2. Sanitize them immediately before wearing them. I use hand sanitizer after washing with soap and water and even top it off with a sani-wipe.
How fun is this!! I am glad I stumbled upon your blog. I will definitely be looking for updates. Thanks for wanting to share your ways with the rest of us. I am amazed at your great finds, and your inspiring me to go to the thrift stores. Do you have some good ones in Ohio? If so maybe we need to make a trip to see you guys. Keep the post comin':).

Yes, there are some great thrift stores here, and it's all I can do not to post 7 tips a day, because this is one of my passions:). We would also love, love for you guys to come here. We'll only be here another year, and we had so much fun with you guys last time, we should make it happen.
